The hiring process at Kemira

Explore open positions

In our job search portal, take a look at what available open positions we have that resonate with you and your areas of expertise, job level, location etc. You can also create a candidate profile to apply for jobs or set alerts for new opportunities that come up. Those alerts will inform you about opportunities that align with your interests.

Once you have found an open position that resonates with you, find the “Apply now” button and follow the guidelines. Shortly after you have submitted your application you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. Our recruiters will review the applications carefully and contact candidates who match the profile successfully.

Interview

During the interview process, the steps may differ depending on the position you’ve applied for. You’ll be asked to share your qualifications and experiences by providing examples. Typically, you’ll meet 2-3 people for about an hour each, either virtually or in-person. After the interview(s), your recruiter will inform you about potential next steps or a final decision.

Assessments

Some positions may require an additional step in the hiring process, such as psychometric assessments, case studies or a language check. You may also be interviewed for another round to have a broader picture of you as a candidate. Due to legal requirements, we may proceed with background checks if needed.

Offer

When the selection process is completed, we will be in touch with all candidates to provide feedback. For a candidate who successfully went through the recruitment process, we will prepare an offer and discuss the next steps with them.

Onboarding

Our onboarding process is designed to ensure a smooth and welcoming start into your new role at Kemira. You’ll be paired with a buddy, an experienced Kemira colleague who will guide you through your first weeks, offering you support and answering any questions. The process includes comprehensive training, introductions to key team members, and getting familiar with our company culture.
