Kemira serves water-intensive industries worldwide – with the focus on water treatment, fiber production and various sustainable packaging and hygiene solutions. We help our customers design for efficiency, reuse resources, and revitalize natural systems. With over 100 years of experience, we partner with municipal water utilities, pulp, paper, board and tissue producers to deliver visible improvements.
Kemira’s annual turnover in 2023 was around EUR 3.4 billion with over 50% of revenue coming from products that enable better resource-efficiency for our customers. With a solid track record in profitability improvement, we are increasing focus on profitable growth in the future. Sustainability transformation is driving the growth, and our aim is to double the revenue from the 2024 level in water in the long run.

Kemira’s new operating model and Leadership Team as of January 1, 2025
Kemira plans to move to a new operating model and organization to better enable profitable growth. Water is expected to be the key contributor for Kemira's revenue growth going forward with a long-term ambition to double the revenue in water. The planned changes aim to increase customer centricity, strategic focus and speed of delivery and to accelerate growth and shareholder value creation. As part of these plans, Kemira moves to three externally reported business units as of 2025: Water Solutions, Packaging & Hygiene Solutions and Fiber Essentials.
