Excellent supplier awarding is a result of Vendor Value program launched in 2017 as part of supplier management practice in Kemira. It is important to recognize suppliers for their efforts towards Kemira and can be used as an effective means of Supplier Relationship Management to motivate suppliers in delivering excellent performance as well as great value to Kemira, says Thierry Blomet, SVP, Sourcing.

Our selection process consisted of 11 good candidates that were evaluated within sourcing management team and three awardees were selected based on outstanding performance on all evaluation criteria, says Eeva Mckissack, Senior Manager, Sourcing Processes and Governance.

During official award ceremonies organized by Sourcing in Atlanta end of February and in Helsinki early March, the three most excellent suppliers of the year 2017 received an award by Kemira management board representatives Jari Rosendal, President and CEO, Petri Castrén, CFO and Esa-Matti Puputti, EVP Operational Excellence.
